Welcome to the Get IT On website

Get IT On Project

The goal of this project is to develop ICT centres of excellence in the South Wales Valleys area in order for entrepreneurship, social enterprise and local businesses to up-skill and embed technology into their businesses.

Learning and skills development for employment will be a key factor in the project as will the development of a social enterprise/small business to support not just the centres but local business and the community in which they operate.

This will be achieved through creating, updating and re-inventing existing centres along with new centres in the WVSRA region in line with community ICT Strategies

This project is aimed at helping you, young or old, to learn through the media of ICT.

Learning can be fun, satisfying and challenging and will help you:

  • To meet new people
  • To make new friends
  • To learn new skills

There are I.T. courses on how to use a computer, photography, family history, on-line shopping, how to protect your children using the net and much, much more.

The Get IT On Project is delivered in 21 areas across South Wales, for Adult Learning and to promote Digital Inclusion, please CLICK HERE to find a Community Get IT on Centre near you.
